GEORGE RYAN licenses for bribes, is your wake up call to focus on all our courts in every community. It is everyone’s worst nightmare waiting to happen, as we all painfully read almost everyday. As it was for me and my family and my beautiful daughter.22, and friend http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php

My mission is to bring people together to take action for accountability and culpability for the obstruction of justice and of the cause of the tragedy’s which were not prevented by collusion. and money laundering. This is violating our constitutional laws and rights to due process. It is contempt of our courts of law. by the prosecutor and judges, under their sworn oath. Ryan literally got away with the murder of the Willis  family 6 children.

CITIZENS COURT WATCHERS NETWORK needs your support and pledges to facilitate our analysis and research.to empower us (see Donation page in our menu). THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE; 6 years in a country club prison, Add that to the list of more fraud on the public. Our silence approves them literally for getting away with violating us. I encourage you to never forget that as your accountability. There power in numbers. Our protests and petitions will have power for a ROI (return on investment) on our money i.e. taxes,

The Tribune and other newspaper’s investigation exposed other people across these United States. Lives were at risk and died by his licenses for bribes scandal. The partisan court system is a giant business, a one party enterprise of patronage. Do not drive while intoxicated, as many repeat offenders do everyday. And you must be alert and not text & drive.

Driving is the fastest way to your mortality(death). Your government is the one to take action (for us) on the Federal State and Local level. For petitions and your outcries See www.change.org .

Former Illinois Gov. George Ryan

Heading to Prison

U.S. Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens on Tuesday rejected an appeal by former Illinois Gov. George Ryan to remain free on bail while he appeals his corruption conviction. The 73-year-old Republican is due to report to a federal correctional center in Oxford, Wis., no later than Wednesday.

A federal jury convicted Ryan in April 2006 on fraud and racketeering charges. Federal prosecutors had alleged that under Ryan, the state of Illinois was basically for sale. They accused Ryan of presiding over state government offices that were thoroughly corrupt for at least a decade.

Ryan steered lucrative state government contracts and leases to friends and government insiders who gave him and his family vacations, gifts and cash.

“It was cronyism, where contracts were awarded to people. People were given inside information, they were acting upon it. And at times, George Ryan stepped into the process to make sure that those interests were taken care of,” said Chicago U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald at the time of Ryan’s indictment. Fitzgerald later called Ryan’s conviction “a low-water mark for public service, to have a governor, a secretary of state, to abuse his office in that fashion.”

Probe Sparked by Tragedy

The investigation into corruption in Ryan’s office began with a horrendous tragedy, while Ryan was still Illinois’ secretary of state. On Election Day 1994, a piece of a tail-light assembly fell off a semi-trailer on a Milwaukee expressway and bounced beneath a minivan, rupturing its gas tank and exploding the van into flames. Six children from the Willis family of Chicago, en route to a little getaway, were killed; their parents were severely burned.

Other motorists told police they tried to warn the driver of the truck that the piece was dangling dangerously, but he didn’t understand English. Federal law requires truckers to know and read English to get a license, and investigators were alarmed that this driver — who was from Chicago — didn’t. Wisconsin authorities notified the Illinois secretary of state’s office, which licenses drivers and was then headed by the freshly re-elected Ryan.

An internal investigation found the driver may have paid a bribe to get his license. Ryan’s response was to squash the probe and fire the investigators. Four years later, with Ryan campaigning for governor, federal prosecutors picked up the case. They began indicting employees in Ryan’s office for selling licenses for bribes and then funneling the cash into Ryan’s campaign fund. Ryan repeatedly denied he knew anything about the corruption. The U.S. attorney at the time, Scott Lassar, said in October 1998 that Ryan was not a target of the investigation at the time. So Illinois voters elected Ryan governor by a narrow margin over a squeaky-clean Democrat, then-Rep. Glenn Poshard.

The win capped a political career that began in the early 1970s, when Ryan, a pharmacist from Kankakee, Ill., won a seat on the Kankakee County Board. He went onto serve in the Illinois General Assembly, including one term as House speaker, and as the state’s lieutenant governor, before being elected secretary of state in 1990.

An Old-Fashioned Politician

Though Ryan began his one term as governor triumphantly, with Ray Charles playing at his inaugural bash, he remained under a cloud of suspicion. The federal probe into Ryan’s former office widened, with investigators finding a wide-ranging scheme to use employees of the secretary of state’s office to raise cash for his campaign coffers. The probe culminated with Ryan’s indictment in 2004. In all, 79 people have been indicted in what the U. S. attorney’s office dubbed “Operation Safe Roads.” At least 75 people have been convicted, with no acquittals.

Still, many observers say Ryan used his time in the governor’s office effectively. Known as an old-style, back-slapping politician, Ryan forged effective relationships with both sides of the aisle. He initiated a long-overdue investment in the state’s aging infrastructure, repairing and replacing crumbling roads and bridges, investing in mass transit, and building new state buildings and schools.

His wheeling and dealing in smoke-filled backrooms led to legislative deals pumping new funding into the state’s schools. Ryan also worked with Chicago’s Democratic mayor, Richard M. Daley, to pass a ban on assault weapons — to the chagrin of many of his friends in his own party.

“Why would anybody take any great satisfaction that this man is going to prison?” longtime GOP state Rep. Bill Black told the Associated Press. “He had decades of, I think, noble service.”

An Ironic, Noble Legacy

To many, there is even a certain irony to seeing George Ryan in prison, because of his most notable work as governor: overhauling Illinois’ problem-plagued criminal justice system.

Ryan won international acclaim in 1999 for declaring a moratorium on executions in Illinois after seeing more than a dozen death-row inmates have their convictions overturned. He appointed a blue-ribbon commission to study ways to revamp the state’s capital punishment system. But with state lawmakers failing to enact some of those proposals, Ryan wasn’t convinced that the problems were completely fixed. In January 2003, he stunned the world by clearing out Illinois’ death row, commuting the death sentences of more than 160 inmates to life sentences.

“He recognized the entire criminal justice system is in serious need of reform and he’s made a most significant contribution to that effort not only in Illinois, but nationally,” Rob Warden, director of the Center for Wrongful Convictions at Northwestern University, said at the time of Ryan’s sentencing. “He’s done a great deal of good in life, and for it to end like this is tragic. It’s beyond tragic.”

Warden says Ryan will leave a noble legacy of reforming what he believes was a corrupt system that trampled the rights of some of the most vulnerable criminal defendants; many had served years in prison or on death row for crimes they did not commit.

“What George Ryan did in Illinois is going to have a tremendous impact on criminal justice reform throughout the United States in the next couple of decades,” Warden says.

Ryan’s efforts to reform capital punishment got him nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. To many death penalty opponents, he is a man of honor and integrity. To the federal correctional system, he is a new inmate about to begin a 6 and 1/2 year sentence Wednesday at the federal prison in Oxford.

Laura and Dina – Gone but not Forgotten

Laura & Dina

– Gone but not Forgotten

On Aug. 22, 1985,, you were taken from us, not by illness or natural causes.  We could have adjusted to that.  But you were killed. The murder weapon was a car. The  driver of the car, Timothy  Sullivan’s  blood  alcohol levels  proved he was drunk.

The evening began as did many others, you and your best girlfriend Dina left by car.  In a few short  hours  we were  summoned  to  the  hospital  – My daughter  Laura, and  Dina,  were already gone. Their car was struck with deadly force by one driven by Sullivan. Our grief was unbearable.

As your birthday nears and holidays come and go, we remember the joy and happy times we had for such a few short years. I miss you so painfully as we all do and your loving ways. After you had been laid to rest, I took some small comfort in believing that justice would be done.

During the weeks that followed my frustration turned to outrage. When I met with James Ryan, our states attorney, I saw his deceit immediately.  It was beyond a feeling of helplessness for me and my family; A horrible unreal feeling.  Soon after we had to hire an investigator  to learned that Sullivan had 19 arrests relating to alcohol, Many reduces, Ryan the states attorney was victimizing by not calling  us. , Didn’t offer us his horrific record His responsibility, Many were plead and reduced. We were in shock!  We learned later about the connection between his parents .and Terry Ekl  THE MASTER OF THE COURTS OF DUPAGE DWI FELONS.and DWi Don Ramsell, plud Jim Ryan our new states attorney were all friends with the family. What we discovered by investigation,

He is now currently a 25 time offender, and driving while revoked, thanks to this top criminal DWI lawyer. terry ekl The lawyer is why he still had a valid driver’s license, illegally of course, He had a  prior DWI  in 84 .before the crash and the approval of the states attorney and specially selected judge!  We all had a catastrophic wake up call! It was a one party conspiracy game. racket was told by a Suntimes reporter,  you have no one to help you!

Enter now Frances Cuneo, village attorney-crook-extraordinaire who got him supervision.in the 84  DWI with judge jerz  illegally, plead. We  continued to investigated everyrthing, possible, including the mandates of laws. We also investigated their big mansions of homes .Paid with our blood and the criminal fathers blood money . I now discover why there is many DWI homicides. The cause and effect.is all malpractice liability of our law behind the closed doors on the 4th floor of the courts, The stench was unbearable to me .  We have unequivocally seen Hell and lived in it for a year,  Truth be told They all live with blood on their hands .for their net-worth.  God will be the  judge for us as they enter  Hell, Not only in Washington but all of our court systems.. The girls were one minute from their homes. as I was anxiously waiting with her golden retriever.  This is  where yours and every mothers and families worst nightmares begins and has by thousands of familys by mulible drunk drivers  See jaw dropping record in my life story. Truth be told again,  It’s literally a Russian Roulette game and you and your family are not immune. Be forewarned.

It is like they were murdered twice, once by the arrest record by all the plea bargaining  Then got his license back on the previous DWI even after alcoholic testing and grading laws violated,   Thereafter the plea bargaining again repeated,un-deterred by the court system he murders my daughter and friend all by an alcoholic father, and mother,  I feel now in Hell by bribery  (its no brainier of a 18 mo work release freed by the Judges chambers  revolving door, Hows that for freedom and our civil rights protected as a mockery .You and all of us have been getting victimized for years. behind closed doors,Its a  large brothel.   This is now your priority wake up call. Business as usual everyday, . Our family and all their friends suffered beyond belief, to see Sullivan get away with a virtual double homicide of work release. plead again, Nothing could be more criminal of bribery, The girls were then re-victimized by this repelling sentence  Blatant inadequate 18 month work release, in the county jail , not  the DOC prison.

The county jail, with then Sheriff Doria was set up for him to enter every day allowed to arrive around midnight we were informed., so he partied after work till late.and was well protected at midnite, coming in. and we were informed  always had alcohol on his breath which he had access to at the train station before he got on the train . How  convenient,, plus his other drugs as marijuana . How is that for your tax money and your familys safety as a free ride.?

The public and major news about our fight was astounding.  Two grieving mothers fighting for justice. Nevertheless  i am proud we made changes in  some laws, and saved many lives by our expose for these girls lives,, The pain never goes away for us and  truth be told my life has literally ended, since,….. It is without a doubt, a “criminal protection system”.  We trusted. A giant IRS I need everyone to join and help me in my uphill battle for  a new court system by us  law abiding citizens Justice must prevail is our mission.by mobilizing. and being a pledged member, I cant do it without you,  to protect you,.

Sullivan’s sentence, to hold a job and check in at the county jail at night, was a classic case of patronage,. Money is the Godfather of our corrupt court system They are opportunists for their partisan party ,and money laundering, The name of the game.  This habitual DWI felon and thousands more,is your wake up call..

If u  want to hold them all accountable.for our audits and research i am dedicated to..please sign our pledges

Did it matter that Laura and Dina lie in their graves?  We thought our system was meant to dispense justice?  Men have been sentenced to life imprisonment for killing with a gun or knife . Why is it different when the weapon is a car?  (because its easy money by pleading DWI’S s,,,,,, A TIME BOMB ON WHEELS. ………….A killer of any type forfeits his right to be a part of society.

As for the public official who do not prosecute to the full letter of the law?  They are beyond and worse than the criminals who drink and drive and murder, ,and are accountable by plea bargaining and undeterred decisions.for decades, They are mega millionaires.due to our addictions. They will now be held responsible by CCWN,  My legacy to my daughter and all victims They will also lose their license’s and will be disbarred by civil rights attorneys. as George Ryan You kill with your car, you lose your freedom. and license permanently and pay the price .law abiding citizens have rights to drive safely, and now demand  higher sentence’s for murder and maiming   Your thousands of dollars will not get u plead  and citizens justice denied!

Criminal Defense Lawyers, My Worst Nightmare: Terry Ekl

flyer with lawyer.jpg

This is your wake-up call!!!!!!

Vehicular homicides are enabled by the DuPage County Criminal Defense System: the same system responsible for the murder of my daughter and her friend. Terry Ekl and Don Ramsell are the head honchos in charge!

Be aware of DUI enabler Don Ramsell. He is a partner in the crimes of vehicular homicides by repeat offenders who were plea-bargained with the judge’s and prosecutors’ approval. Be aware of George Ryan’s licenses for bribes. You must educate yourself on his accountability for the murders of the Reverend Willis’ family (all 6 of his children)! They were on their way to Wisconsin when their minivan accidentally ran over a steel beam that fell off a truck driving ahead of them; the van then exploded, causing instant fatalities. The rickety old truck was being steered by an illiterate man named Guzman who was in possession of an illegal license sanctioned by the corrupt DMV drivers license office.

It was a license afforded by bribes to the corrupt George Ryan, our Governor!

We are calling for YOU to connect with the Courtwatchers of DuPage to instill government accountability. Our focus is to get all citizens actively involved! We need your support and pledges! Remember: We can be the solution as role models, or we can be our children’s worst enemy. It’s time to get educated on toxic products and legalized drugs!
